How do I book Great Northern Mountain Escape?

What is the minimum stay?

Minimum stays typically range from 3 nights during low seasons and 4 nights during summer peak season. Shorter stays for special events may be available during off-peak times—please check your dates on our calendar or inquire directly.

How many guests can stay at the home?

Our property is designed for up to 24 overnight guests, perfectly suited for families, wedding parties, or large groups.

Are payments required in advance?

A 50% deposit is required to secure your reservation if your booking date is more than 60 days away. The remaining balance must be paid 60 days prior to your arrival. A refundable security deposit of $1,500 is required for each stay. We accept major credit cards, Stripe, PayPal, and Apple Pay for your convenience.

What is your cancellation policy?

You may cancel with a full refund up to 61 days prior to arrival. Cancellations 30–60 days before arrival may be partially refunded. No refunds for cancellations within 30 days of the check in date. We recommend travel insurance for additional flexibility and peace of mind.

How are the bedrooms arranged?

The home includes 7 bedrooms: 4 California King beds in en suite rooms, 7 Queen beds, and 2 XL Twin beds. Each room is thoughtfully appointed for rest and privacy

Is air conditioning and heating available?

Yes, the house offers central A/C and heating, plus heated floors in select rooms to ensure year-round comfort.

Is there WiFi?

Yes, high-speed wireless internet is available throughout the property, powered by Starlink satellite service—ensuring fast and reliable connectivity even in this beautiful mountain setting.

Are towels and linens provided?

Yes, luxury towels and bed linens are included with every stay. All beds are professionally prepared before your arrival to ensure a comfortable and seamless experience. For added comfort, plush bathrobes and slippers are also provided, offering a true luxury retreat experience.

Is the kitchen fully equipped?

Enjoy a chef’s kitchen with premium appliances, cookware, dinnerware, and utensils suitable for gourmet cooking or professional catering. A barbecue is available on the main deck, along with an Ooni pizza oven.

Are pets allowed?

We maintain a pet-free environment to ensure top-tier cleanliness and comfort for all guests.

Arrival & Stay - Weddings & Events

Can I book the estate for a wedding or special event?

Absolutely! Our estate is perfect for luxury weddings and private events, with an expansive lawn with lake views for up to 200 guests. There is also a 3,600 square foot concrete pad available for your dream event tent or helicopter arrival. Custom event packages are available—please contact us to discuss your vision. 

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is at 4:00 pm and check-out is at 10:00 am. Outside of peak summer months, we may offer flexibility if our cleaning schedule allows—please ask in advance.

How do I access the property? 

Our property management team will arrange to meet you on site to review property features with you and answer any questions you may have. If arriving after hours, an easy self-check-in uses secure, personalized code-based entry. Instructions are sent to your email before arrival An all-wheel-drive vehicle is highly recommended to access our property at all times of the year, but especially in the winter months when there is snow and ice.

Is your property family friendly?

Yes! Our property is designed to be family friendly, and we can provide additional information or amenities for children and infants upon request.

Is mid-stay housekeeping available?

A deep clean is always provided before your stay. Additional cleaning or linen refreshes can be arranged for a fee during longer visits, as can other concierge services such as a private chef, steward, nanny or grocery stocking.

Are outside vendors welcome?

Yes, you may use your own caterer, planner, or rental company. We’re also happy to recommend our favorite local partners.

Is there on-site parking for events? 

There is generous parking for guests and event staff. For larger celebrations, we require pre-arranged shuttle or valet services.

Are there noise restrictions? 

Out of respect for our neighbors and in compliance with local ordinances, outdoor amplified music is limited to a maximum of 85 decibels and must end by 12:00 am. If noise complaints are received, we will notify the event organizer and require volume reduction or speaker repositioning. Repeated violations may result in early termination of the event.

How close are you to Whitefish attractions?

We are just 5 minutes from Whitefish Mountain Resort and 40 minutes from the West Glacier entrance of Glacier National Park. Downtown shopping, hiking, lake activities, and top local dining are all just minutes away

What activities do you recommend nearby?

Depending on the season, enjoy skiing, snowboarding, golf, horseback riding, hiking, boating, fishing, alpine sledding, zip line tours, white water rafting, e-bikes, scenic drives, kayaking, ice skating, snowmobiling and more. Ask us for custom recommendations!

Policies & Security

Is smoking allowed?

Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited anywhere on the property.

What should we do if something gets damaged?

Please notify our team immediately of any damage; most minor issues are treated with understanding. Major damages may be deducted from your security deposit.

What are your cleaning and safety protocols?

The property is meticulously cleaned before each stay using eco-friendly products, with professionally laundered linens and detailed sanitization of all high-touch areas to meet luxury hospitality standards.
